neat bike photos

Here is a neat pic of my dads original paint 37 knucklehead after we first put 18 inch wheels on it. I love this bike it is probably the nicest one that we have. the crown jewel so to speak. It is super fast. We bought it from the original owner's son.


This is my dad's 53 panhead before we put the orange sheet metal on it. I never rode it in this configuration. we were asked by mike lichter to make a replica of the chino bike from the wild one movie, so we did, then we put it back to stock and then my dad and Mike rode it across the country for the cannonball.



Here is a great pic of Bob's 47 I love this motorcycle it turned out so great and he actually rides it, which is a huge bonus for my dad and i. cn 37 heads

This is a late 36 37 head that we received for repairs this week. The rear head is pretty nice, and the front head is in amazing condition. It has never been converted to run covers. 36 and 37 ohvs had open rocker motors. Go to www.youtube.com/gosonytv to see some videos of open rocker heads in action. Anyways this head is amazing!


It looks like a fin is missing, but it is cast like that, so that the return line on the baby food jar has clearance to route back to the rocker box.

36 and 37 heads have this little y stamped in the intake port. It is a cool deal. The only problem with this head is a crack up the exhaust port, which is a pretty common deal.

We also had our 37 judged. The only thing that we have done to this bike is add oil, gas, paint the tanks (they were in primer when we bought the machine) and change the wheels. It still scored really well


Here is the sheet. It got a 94.5. This is the nicest 37 el that I have ever seen, if any of you guys need reference pictures, email me and I will post them.

18 inchers on our 37

Tim threw a set of cad plated 18 inch wheels on our 37 today. When we bought the bike it had 16 inch rims on it, and they looked terrible. The rims were from 1948, so the original owner had put them on after world war 2.


Holy Moly!!!!!!! This looks so much better.



Down side.

The fellow that we bought the bike from had re plated the original air cleaner , and it was way to shiny for the rest of the bike. I ran one of my reproduction 6 inch air cleaners last summer, and this year I put on this original air cleaner. It was missing 3 hooks, so I had to drill into the backing plate and set it up for some self tapping screws.
