update/////

Dear Harley Davidson Knucklehead,
HAPPY 75Th anniversery you are the reason that HD is still around.
love,
Matt Olsen

HEre is a neat pic of two 38s that my dad and I did a couple years ago. The dirty one has original paint tanks and we matched the whole bike to them. IT was a lot of work but was worth it. These bikes were only four or five numbers apart from each other.

Here is a pic Russ's 53 motor. It is finished and ready to go.

I think that s and s carbs look great bead blasted, it kind of makes them look older.

fun weekend

I had a friend from Minnesota come over and teach me how to weld aluminum and solder sheet metal together. IT was amazing! I love learning new things. I didn't take any pics, I'll take some later on. My dad finished up this 53 bottom end over the weekend.

Our friend Paul came by and spent a couple days with us too. His uncle was Harry Mollenar, so I got to hear all sorts of neat and interesting stories about a guy that I have idolized since I was a little kid.

Next up is John's 48! His cases are all prepped and ready to go

The bottome end sits in a fixture and we plug fit the bearings for the pinion and sprocket shaft!

Rocket ship stuff

My dad got the flywheels in this 53 fl today.

It was -4 degrees this morning. I took this pic of a frosted tree.

I spent the day finishing up kicker covers and rebuilding some fork tubes for a 52 fl. Everything is pretty nice, I just took it apart and smoothed everything up.

Here is the stuff getting ready to go back together.
