Well guys, it is wiÞh great sorrow that I write this message. I came to the realization that I didn't have enough time to finish the 1000 mile trip.there were too many hurdles. The good news is that I did an iba run last sunday, and I know that I can do it again with a passenger. Mara and I are going to do the run on our way home this upcoming sunday. We are not throwing in the towel, just rescheduling the run a couple of days. Mara will still be doing updates, so if you are interested in seeing what else can go wrong or hopefully go right, then check out this site on sunday.
Best,
Matt and mara

You have a GREAT attitude M & M! I'll be watching and cheering from here on Sunday... Go! Go! Go!
ReplyDeleteAll of us following and cheering you on are in awe of what you have already done and you can count on our support for the run back if you chose to do it. Just remember the accomplishments you have already made are significant and not to overdue it and hurt the bike or yourselves. You two are amazing!

Congrats on what you have done so far. Good luck next time and whatever you guys do - STAY CRAZY!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you stopped when you did. I still don't understand how you can be 24 and have so much in the smarts and wise departments! Keep me posted on Sunday. I'm looking forward to IBA part 3! Mike Lichter
ReplyDeleteI would love to see this story published - you've certainly dispelled any and all myths about the reliability of a well-bult knucklehead! And for that aching butt, try an Airhawk pad. They are pricey but you and Mara will not regret spending the money.
