Rear brake pin

Here is what your fore arms look like after peening four rear brake pedal pins.
Here is one of the peened pins. It is tight and set up for a long long time.

I put a nut and lock washer on the end to protect the threads while I was beating the other side down.

This is how I remove the old pin. I was wearing sandals when I did this, and I got a bunch of metal slivers in my toes.

4 bolt blue print

I made up my mind to make some flanges for four bolt manifolds, I can't really say why, but I will have them pretty soon. here is what the blue print looks like if you would like to make your own at home. Have fun and be safe.

started taking pics for the website update today

Here is a pic of the transmission for the 46 bobber we are doing. It is a little flashier than a stock 46 trans, it looks more lie a 47 or early 48 transmission. Lots of nice detail going on,

We make the little spacer under the grease zerc!!
I used to scrounge the country looking for useable originals, they seem to be drying up, which is ok, since we now make our own. These things work and look great!!

I am waiting on some steering dampner parts to get back from the cad plater. I took this pic so you could see the handlebar lock plate. It is the fourth one that I have put on a bike in the last couple of months. It has the four bends in it just like originals. You can not tell the difference between originals and our reproductions. They are perfect. Somebody repros this piece already, but it is missing the bends, doesn't have the right radius on the front, and it is made out of steel. What a dumbass move to go through all the work and expense of making a die, and use the wrong material?

BB47 70 percent done!!

Here is a good pic of the front end, lots of stuff going on, notice the early 47 headlight bracket, the nuts up on the horn mount, cad plated wire clips, etc..
This sure looks black without the fendert trim and front fender light. It's still good stuff.

Rear 3/4!!! This bike was just a pile of parts yesterday morning. What a bunch of work to get this far. Should be done shortly!!!!

sorry guys.

I made a ton of progress on an all black 47 today, but I left my camera at my apartment. I will take some pics of it at the end of the day tommorrow. Here is a pic of a 36 sidecar loop wax. It is pretty obvious that it is built up with extra material that will later have to be machined off. There is a ton of casting detail in this piece, and I am excited to see the loops in steel!!

Finished 46 fl outside pics!!

This is not the clutch pedal set up that is going to be on the finished bike, I still have to make up a suicide pedal for the bike. I am not sure what is wrong with my camera, it makes this blue look really light outside. The bike is a darker blue than the color in the pics.
Here is the finished bike. I love rear 3/4 shots, this angle makes bikes look sleek and fast. Please don't focus on the bright yellow inline fuse, it will be out of the website and magazine pics. lol

neck mold details

Check out the dif and xe35 12 in the mold. This seems to work well.

Here are both halves of the mold, check out the alignment caps and the fill point. I am excited to see how these machine up. I am casting one out of stainless for a bobber.
