1939 Knucklehead transmission gears research and developement!

here is a pic of my daddy line lapping the new race for his new 39 transmission.


Here is a pic of our new 39 transmission gears. We put over 1,000 miles on our first prototype set, and we were really happy with the results. The shifting on these gears are a lot more positive than on o.g. gears. My daddy is taking his bike to New York on Sunday, and he wanted a set or our gears in his 39, so we built up an extra trans for it and installed it today.



Here is a pic of his 39 with out a transmission, dangit, somebody must have snuck in and taken it while we were sleeping.
