camera adjustments and acorn nuts!

I have been playing around with my new camera and am finally starting to figure it out after a month. I hate electronics. This is a nos 65 degree grease zerc. It says made in usa on it. this detail is so cool.

Here it is installed on the 42. Early bikes through mid 47 had angled grease zercs in the brake x over shaft and the seat post, and switched to straight zercs sometime in the production run in 47. The hexagon spacer under the zerc is not in the parts book, but on all bikes except 36-38

we got our acorn nuts for the site gauges today. we bought 1000 of them and they were all individually packaged. 1000 bags for 1000 acorn nuts

Jesse spent the day sorting them out and de bagging them. 400 of them were rejects and have to be exchanged. the flats were .040 too short. He filled up an entire garbage can with little plastic baggies, it is not our greenest moment. These are going off to get nickle plated just like originals. have a nice night.
